The BPMA has a small exhibition space in its Search Room in Freeling House which changes each year. In addition we run a programme of touring and external exhibitions at other venues to ensure that our collections are accessible to the widest possible audiences. Our current exhibitions to visit
Last Post: Remembering the First World War is at the Churchill Museum & Cabinet War Rooms until 28th February 2009.
This new temporary exhibition, jointly organised by the BPMA and the CM&CWR, will display artefacts, posters and images from both the Imperial War Museum’s and the BPMA’s collections. It celebrates the the vital role the Post Office played during the First World War (1914-1918).

You can visit the Lions, Leopards, Unicorns and Dragons: The first "Regional" stamps exhibition in our Search Room
in Freeling House from 7 May 2008 until Spring 2009.
The exhibition marks the 50th anniversary of the first definitive stamps for Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and the islands of Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man. It explores how the designs for the stamps came about.

The Travelling Post Office at The Crewe Heritage Centre reopened on Friday 21 March 2008. The exhibition explores the fascinating history of the service with an array of equipment, and a beautifully restored 1908 carriage.
You can also see the equivalent exhibition online in The Travelling Post Office which takes us on a journey from 1838 to 2004.
Moving the Mail: Horses to Horsepower is currently on display at Grampian Transport Museum and the Scottish Railway Preservation Society.
As you can see in the online exhibition Moving the Mail: Horses to Horsepower traces the history of road transport in the postal service, from post boys and mail coaches, to motorcycles and Mobile Post Offices.

Timeless & Classic: Elizabeth, Queen and Icon is on display at The Wedgwood Visitor Centre, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire from 19 January 2008 - 23 December 2008. The Timeless and Classic exhibition has been adapted from the
acclaimed 2007 exhibition at the Royal College of Art, which marked the
40th anniversary of the Machin design.
