Stamps in Schools celebrated its 10 year anniversary in the Autumn of 2007.

The idea of going into schools with an exhibition and a presentation about stamps and stamp collecting originated in Haverfordwest Philatelic Society and was the brain child of Erene Grieve. For the first two years the project operated just in the Haverfordwest area but funding from the British Philatelic Trust in 1999 enabled the development of the original idea to include the whole of the UK.

Stamps in Schools has been sponsored by BPMA since 2006. As a result, it has the use of our many of our exciting educational resources.

Erene has made nearly 300 visits to schools from Islington to Inverness, often working with local philatelic socieites. For more information, see the Stamps in Schools page or contact Erene Grieve on erenegrieve@f2s.com or phone 01646 601490.
