BPMA launches public consultation on OSP

Your opportunity to comment on what The Royal Mail Archive should be collecting.

The Operational Selection Policy (OSP) has been put together by the BPMA to give members of staff at the BPMA and Royal Mail guidance on the kinds of records that should be selected for permanent retention in The Royal Mail Archive. It covers the period from 1969, when the Post Office was nationalised, to 2006 when the United Kingdom letters market was opened up to full competition.

OSPs are usually subject to public consultation. Further information on the OSP, along with details on how you can comment and a copy of the OSP can be found at http://www.postalheritage.org.uk/collections/osp.
