New partner venues for London 2010: Festival of Stamps
Three new partner venues for London 2010: Festival of Stamps have been announced. They are Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, Marylebone Cricket Club Museum - Lords and Aberdeen Maritime Museum. Also involved is the History of Communication symposium at the University of London.
Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum and Marylebone Cricket Club Museum will host stamp displays on the themes of tennis and cricket (respectively). Dates will be announced soon.
From July until November Aberdeen Maritime Museum will host a changing stamp display on various maritime themes.
The History of Communication symposium, taking place on 23 January, will cover topics including Postal Systems.
