The following projects were carried out by BPMA access and learning staff as a result of funding and support from bodies such the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Museums, Libraries and Archive Council.
When the Stamp Made its Mark
A project led by the Kidderminster Choral Society which celebrated the achievements of Rowland Hill and the impact of the Penny Black.
Campaign! Make an Impact
Campaign! Make an Impact is an initiative that uses history to inspire young people into active citizenship.
Young Cultural Creators
Between 2005 and 2008 the BPMA was involved in the Young Cultural Curators Scheme, a programme which inspired young people's reading and creativity.
Citizenship in Schools
In 2006 BPMA worked with teachers and students from Bensham Manor School as part of the London Teacher Placement Scheme.
The Penny Black Changed The World
In 2005, the BPMA received a grant to digitise and increase access to the world-renowned Victorianstamp collection of Reginald M. Phillips.
