Fridge magnets

Quality fridge magnets featuring posters from the heyday of the GPO

GPO-commissioned posters in miniature - featuring designs by artists including Tom Eckersley and Pieter Huveneers. When Stephen Tallent became GPO public relations manager in 1933, he decided to push the use of posters to carry information from the Post Office to the public. The posters in this colourful selection encourage careful packaging of parcels, posting early in the day, and why working for the postal service is a good job, because "Everybody's Pleased To See The Postman". Each magnet is 52 x 78mm in size.

Everybody’s Pleased To See The Postman … (1955) by West One Studios
