The Royal Mail Archive has a wealth of information about local history, with everything from photographs, delivery maps and architectural drawings to records concerning local offices and employees.
Our reference library holds street directories, Post Office Guides, local history reference books and magazines. You're bound to find something relating to your local area of interest in our Search Room portfolio collection which contains hundreds of files relating to post towns around Britain.
Come along for an introduction to the collection, including behind-the-scenes tours and help getting started with research.
