Talk: Celebrating Three Englishmen and their Influence on Postal History
Hear this page read aloud
Wednesday 23 April 2008
Celebrate St George's Day with a lunchtime debate, as three curators state the case for three great Englishmen from British postal history, using objects and records from our collections.
The British postal service has influenced the development of postal communications worldwide, but who were the key players? The identities of the candidates will remain secret until the event, even the curators will not know who their colleagues have chosen to represent.
Come along to cast your vote and award the accolade 'The Greatest Englishman in British Postal History'.
